employees are working in it in various capacities. Organization B has proper departmentalization, and 52 people are employed in it. In organization
C, the total number of employees is
around 650. The basic purpose of
human resource management in these organizations is to attract, develop, and retain competent employees to have a competitive
edge over the competitors. However, each organization follows a different approach

Word-Limits: 100 -150
Solution
Before discussing every
organization approach to handle HRM functions, let's have a look at HRM
functions:
1. Staffing
2. Human Resource Development
3. Compensation and benefits
4. Safety and Health
5. Employee and labor relations
Application of HRM
functions vary among organizations depending upon their size, goals, etc. In the given scenario, we have to study the application of HRM functions for every
organization base on their size.
In
small Firm A-22, the entrepreneur can look after only 03 out
of 5 above mentioned HRM functions by himself because the burden of the work is
not high due to the volume of work. In
medium Firm B-52, a separate HR section is already established that is engaged
to execute 4 HRM functions except 2. While in
case C-650, the company exercises all five HRM functions aligning with the company overall goals by achieving the objects of attracting, retaining, and developing
employees.
